Location: Tasunke Wakan Okolakiciye, 3 miles south of Sharps Corner, large brick building on east side

 

The Pte Oyate (buffalo nation) care for and protect their young by put-ting them in the center of the herd. Our young relatives, age 7-12, who have experienced trauma, loss and/or grief are invited to the center for a healing camp in the community of Pahin Sinte, Porcupine, SD. Chil-dren will experience learning, fun and healing activities. A Parent/Guardian or designated responsible adult is required to accompany and participate with the Wakanyeja. Siblings of the wakanyeja are also welcome. There is a registration fee of $200.00 per child and there are scholarships available. Make paya-ble to: Knife Chief Buffalo Nation Organization, P.O.
